[Angstrom-distro-users] Bricked SL-C860?

Hi all,

I think I ran into trouble when flashing the kernel on my SL-C860 earlier
today (trying to upgrade to the 2.6.23 kernel).  The kernel flash apparently
completed, but froze when rebooting.  I let the system sit for a long while,
then pulled the battery.  Now the device is hardly working.  I thought that
perhaps I could re-flash 2.6.22 kernel, so I loaded update.sh and zImage.bin(
2.6.22) on my SD card and went through the motions on the maintenance
menu... no go.  I assume the system uses the installed kernel to update.
But, since my installed kernel will not boot I'm stuck at a black screen.
I'm pretty new to the Zaurus, so, from this description, do you think I
bricked it?  What options do I have?

The Angstrom distro (or the little I saw of it) is great by the way.
Excellent work.  Hopefully I"ll be a able to play with it some more :)
