Hmm, interesting - which models you mean? Or they are the same model,
just with a different sound chip?

Huh, it seems I've discovered yet another "buggy" sampling rate for the
alsa driver. I'll leave a note in the bugtracker, thanks for pointing
it out. 32000Hz sounds jerky, 32001 is ok and 31999 is ok :-) it just
happened that I encode PDA video at 32khz.
