[Angstrom-distro-users] kinda OT: hardware recommendation to replace my dead Netgear MA701 (CF 802.11b and/or g)

I had a Socket/Symbol/Spectrum card once, worked quite well, didn't
suck too much power. I also bought a Zonet Mercury ZCF1100 which,
being prism2 based, worked with hostap and thus I get WPA etc; I also
noticed that the Zonet got higher speed performance at the same
distance as the Spectrum and gave a stronger signal indication too.
Since I couldn't do WPA on the Socket/Spectrum card (situation might
have changed since then) and the Zonet worked so much better, I sold
the Socket card on ebay, have never missed it
