[Angstrom-distro-users] kinda OT: hardware recommendation to replace my dead Netgear MA701 (CF 802.11b and/or g)

Of all the CF 802.11b cards I have worked with, the Intersil-based
Symbol Spectrum24 (LA-4137) performed best. I'm not sure whether this
card is still available though. The second best were the SanDisk
SDWCFB-000 (no additional memory on board) and SDWCFB-128 (128MB on
board).
