Hi,
On my side, i'm using a 802.11b CF card. It's an Ambicom WL1100C-CF.
It's working very good, using hostap kernel module, and WPA supplicant
hostap driver. It supports monitor mode (for aircrack suite), and maybe
packet injection.
A 802.11g seems useless unless your PDA have enough power to use 54MB/s
