My old bcsp type bluetooth compact flash, bought cheaply off ebay, was
in poor condition so I took a chance and bought a nice shiny new
Sitecom one - very cheap, nice and low profile.

The card identifier is 0x022d,0x2000, id string simply "Compact
Flash", "Bluetooth Card" and nothing else. Inserting it tells me the
kernel has it bound to ttyS4, and it's (emulating) 16X950/954. When I
run minicom, I can see bursts of packetised data, so I believe the
card is working well.
Doing a google search, I find the card is probably a variant on the
Ambicom one, and should respond to an hciattach with type csr; this
simply gives the result "Initialization timed out", not matter what
speed I try.
I've tried other settings like bcsp and ericsson at various speeds
with no luck, only once with bcsp it spewed errors but I cannot seem
to reproduce that problem.
Can anyone suggest what params to use?
BTW, I am putting the params into /etc/sysconfig/bluetooth and using
the /etc/bluetooth/hciattach script, I assume this is normal practise.
thanks
Paul
