Hi Tim,
*forehead-smack* Of course! The Akita screen can be disabled while
the device is running with too low a backlight setting! I forgot all
about it. I'll have to try that out.
Come to think of it, I suspected it was still running because the
green LED blinked for a bit (as usual when coming out of suspend) when
I tried to turn it on. I'll dig into the resume scripts and see if I
can't add get apm to restore the backlight.
