Hello,
I've signed up for the mailing list but haven't gotten admin
approval yet so please cc me directly until that catches up. (assuming I
can post to the list without being subscribed...)

I'm trying to load a poodle from a CF card and getting a flash write
error on the initial attempt:

Screen looks something like (my transcription)
    MODEL: SL-5600
    RO file system
    Flash erasing...done
    0% 100%
    .................................ERROR: Flash write

    Error!
    Please reset.

process to get to the point.
formated CF card on a Centos machine using ext3
copied the contents of :
Angstrom-x11-gpe-image-glibc-ipk-2007.9-test-20071003-poodle-installkit.tar
Angstrom-x11-gpe-image-glibc-ipk-2007.9-test-20071003-poodle.rootfs.tar
Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-ipk-2007.9-test-20071003-poodle-installkit.tar
modules-2.6.22-poodle.tar

to the card, did the reset/install sequence.

I've tried this with a 1Gb microdrive as well as a 256Mb flash card.

anyone have a suggestion as to how to proceed? right now it's a brick.

fj..
