[Angstrom-distro-users] Problem with altboot and losetup (/dev/loop0: no such device or address) on Tosa

Folks,
hope anyone can help me out.
I'm having difficulties getting altboot to work on my Tosa.
I installed everything as describes in the wiki entry concerning altboot:
http://www.linuxtogo.org/gowiki/AngstromAltboot
After the loopback image file has been created on my SD card the script
quits with an error saying losetup has failed: /dev/loop0: no such device
or address
/dev/loop0 (and loop1) do actually exist in /dev
I searched the wiki, bugtracker and this mail archive but couldn't find an
answer. The closest match I could find was this bug:
http://bugs.openembedded.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2670
I've tried the workaround, even tried it manually from the command line,
but I keep ending up with the same error message.
Is there something I'm missing or is this a candidate for me to put in the
bugtracker?
I am using, besides my Tosa ;-)
* on internal flash:
Angstrom-console-image-glibc-test-20070710-tosa.rootfs.jffs2.bin (fully
upgraded)
* a virgin Kingston 2Gb SD card (vfat)
* as loopback image on SD:
Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-test-20070710-tosa.rootfs.tar.gz
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Guido Legemaate.
