That is really weird, it looks like it didn't try to build the dependencies. 
What kind of filesystem are you using[1]?

[1] strangely enough, that matters, some filesystems do weird stuff with
timestamps on files and confuse bitbake


Really nothing too unusual at this end. The system is a stock standard 
Debian lenny.
