Of course there is a use and even a need for that: aqpkg.

Actually it has served Opie users very well for years. But as we all
know, you consider users needs as unimportant and unnecessary.

It would have taken a motivated dev maybe 2 or three hours to fix the
feed-parsing. There just wasn't anyone there willing to do it. That is
quite different than "aqpkg was broken beyond repair".

Hentges always shipped with aqpkg and ignored opie-packagemanager. I can
also remember a time when OZ shipped with aqpkg. Did you actually ever
*use* Opie or are yo just making guesses?

Also I would like to remind you that your email program quotes with the
non-standard "|" sign which is just as anti-RFC as your mangling of
Reply-To in the angstrom mailing lists.

"Mister Policy" doesn't care much if said policy happens to affect
himself, huh?
