Tosa is defaulting to 2.6.23 right now. It is working as good/bad as 
2.6.17. Dmitry and Ian are working on tosa kernel with 2.6.23 version, 
and probably nobody is working on the 2.6.17 version (please speak up 
otherwise). So I guess there is no objection to dropping 2.6.17. 
However, for the safety of mind, I would suggest to drop 2.6.17 until 
tosa 2.6.23 reaches maturity.
