[Angstrom-devel] Maintenance of unstable feed

Hello angstrom-distro-devel,

  Yesterday, I tried to do some maintenance of unstable feed, with the
whole aim being:

      Making sure that feed browser is free from cruft which makes
hard for people to browse feeds, so ultimately they could just click
on a given section, and see focuses software which belongs to that
section.

  Things done include:

1. Removing *-dbg packages built before 2007-08-08 which is the date
when fix was committed to OE to make them belong to "devel" section
(which is not ideal, should be sth like "devel/debug", but at least
compatible with the aim above).

2. Removed few cases of packages with bad versions, which caused any
newer packages to go to morgue/.

3. Removed old packages with bad SECTIONs, for which newer with
correct section are available.

4. Cleaned old kernel modules for h2200 (really should be done for
other machines too).


  Feed browser should be much more browsable than before.

  And we really should settle on unstable feed upload procedure,
cleanup old stuff even more consistently (morgue/'s, old stuff at all,
like older than a year), and invite people to upload more builds.

  And yeah, we should cleanup feed management scripts - the way it is
currently on serenity is dirty, dirty, dirty.
