  24hrs are of course ok. Otherwise, I think that coreteam members can take
responsibility of applying emergency patches. Because currently
coreteam's responsibilities are not very worked out. Apparently, it's
second high steering force after the founders, but of specific duties
it has only reviewing machine mentor applications and giving ssh
access (and the latter more of Ansgtrom server admins' duties).
Keeping an eye of critical fixes required would be good addition.

  Of course, I don't think coreteam members would abuse this power and
commit majority of patches in such way, without letting for review and
discussion.
