Hi,
I have a Zaurus C1000 running x11 2207.12 and WiFi works fine (Linksys
WCF12). The only thing I had to do was to take down the usb0 interface
that is there as default.
So try this: before plugging in the WiFi open a terminal and do
ifdown usb0
Does it help? I assume your access point is running as DHCP server and
DNS and allows unencrypted connections. Better test with a setup as
simple as possible.
