ah, thanks. It's a Zonet ZCF1100 "Mercury" card if that helps.

Ok, thanks for that...

I know my card is flashable because I had to update its firmware long
ago so it'd support hostap, and have a reasonable familiarity with the
tools, but I've never tried modifying the card's setup.

I've had a google and can't find too much about how to download the
PDA from this particular card. Any pointer to a how-to would be
gratefully received.

I'll bear that in mind; I know that 1-13 are legal in UK, but I shall
be careful when I go to the USA next week where 12 & 13 are not
FCC-legal!
