[Angstrom-devel] Sound on akita/spitz

While playing with mplayer I though I'd take a look at the sound.
The default asound state for akita does not seem to do much helpful. The
spitz one does, which seems reasonable (there is not a special akita
sound config, so I can add that).
Now - how is switching between headphones and speaker supposed to
happen?
It looks like the default spitz settings turn on the speaker, but set
the 3.5mm jack function to "None"
Would it be better to choose "Headphone" here, or might that damage a
headset/mic if one were plugged in?
Thanks,
Tim
