I use a usb keyboard at the sl c1000 sometimes and I propose you also add:
# this maps Escape to the pc 104 keyboard Escape key
keycode   1 = Escape

The only cxx00 key I could not find an equivalent  for on the 
pc keyboard is the 'cancel' key. So it is not possible to type <Esc>.
