Hi all,

I'm a first year in college, at the University of Minnesota - Morris. I
don't have that much coding/programming experience, but I've done some
bug-finding for Angström before, but not really any programming. This
summer, I'd like to participate in the Google Summer of Code, under the
Angström project.

I understand Angstrom/OE/OpenZaurus have had students in the past as
'Summer of Code'ers, and I'm curious as to what sorts of projects are
considered acceptable, and how much experience one needs. Is it usually
bettering the current code base? Or is developing a piece of software
for the Angström distribution/OE acceptable? What sort of experience
would I need? How should I go about preparing to participate, throughout
my year in college?

I figured I'd try the dev list first, but if this is the wrong place,
please let me know. Thanks all!
