  Well, you know any industry's motto, right?: "... because everyone
loves quizzes!" ;-)  Anyway, idea here is that when mere programmer
commits something, it soon goes thru the full cycle of a project
development - it is built, analyzed, tested, etc. Results are
immediately available to programmer's peers, QA, management, etc. So,
integration here as in "integration to project lifecycle".

  And I post here because for OpenSource projects it is even more
important, as they don't usually have daily/weekly meetings on the
state of project, etc. So, presence and visibility of such system is
important boon, for example, to fight boring and low-SNR reports
like "something doesn't build for me".
