One thing I would like to be included is the use of unionfs stackable
file system so that a compressed readonly root file system can be
stored in flash, and an overlay added from CF or SD cards when the
system boots allowing the system to changed significantly, but
restored quickly if it breaks by rebooting without the add-on card,
and also possible to snapshot changes quite easily.

One thing that I thought was pretty terrible about old Sharp systems
was using squashfs and then having to have masses of symlinks from r/w
space to the rom space.
